Typography is the craft of endowing human language with a durable visual form, and thus with an independent existence. (...) Typography remains a source of true delight, true knowledge, true surprise.

When it comes to beauty products are you as price conscience as you might be with other consumer items?

While I’ve never done a formal survey the few people I have asked are direct in saying that if they are shopping for an anti wrinkle cream, price is not at the top of the list for what will or won’t sway them to buy a particular product.

I find this to be interesting since if we’re shopping for food at the local grocery store to feed our families we will often choose a less expensive and frequently less healthier option but if we’re looking or the best cellulite creams to reduce those dimples price isn’t an object of consideration.

Now this might seem like I’m just targeting women with this post, since they are generally both the consumers of cellulite and wrinkle creams as well as the primary shopper for groceries in a house hold, but that’s not the case.

Let’s think about men for a moment. Do you ever see a man who’s struggling with balding issues looking for value priced hair loss treatments? Didn’t think so. These are topics that are very very important to the individual and closely related to their ego so thinking of cutting corners to save a few bucks just isn’t an option.

This isn’t so much of an argument as it is a general point, and next time you’re thinking about buying a consumable product for yourself that has to do with beauty or skin care stop and think how you would compare a similar product in the grocery store isle. It might change your purchase decision.
