The obligatory welcome post, baby

November 4, 2009

Welcome! If you followed me here from my old blog, I hope you’ll enjoy moving on with me. If you’re a friend or family member, I hope this little place allows you a better look into and a greater understanding of our lives. Jason and I have been in the process of downshifting for quite some time now, and we have come to realize it will be a forever journey. What started as a reexamination of our consumption and values turned into an experiment in frugal living, and that morphed into an ongoing attempt to live more mindful lives. I hope to make this little place a sacred space to share, question, dream, and explore We hope you stick with us as we make both false starts and (hopefully) stumble onto joyous truths.

Ha–our husbands have the same name! I love the new look. It’s very “you” even though obviously I’ve never met you. :-) I’m looking forward to reading what you have to say here!
